Overview
The YDKL-1A ATC Transponder Field Tester is an X-band radio transceiver device. It can transmit A-mode or C-mode transponder interrogation signals and receive and process the response signals from airborne ATC transponders, analyzing and displaying the corresponding aircraft code and flight altitude.
The YDKL-1A is designed as a handheld portable device, primarily powered by its internal battery. Signal transmission and reception are conducted through antennas, making it highly suitable for verifying the operational capability of ATC transponders in the field.
