The TL-E50A Magneto Synchronizer is a modernized redesign of a classic testing instrument that has been used by aviation mechanics worldwide for over 50 years. It utilizes surface-mount device (SMD) microcircuitry to eliminate the need for bulky vibrators and heavy transformers. The new technology in the E50A employs low-voltage signals to measure the inductance of magnetos and precisely detect the moment of contact break, ensuring accurate readings without errors.
The TL-E50A also features enhancements to make your work easier, such as built-in calibration test points to verify the tester before each use, a battery monitor that provides ample warning before the tester runs out of power, and a quiet mode operation that alerts you only when the contact points break—eliminating the constant, annoying "buzzing" sound while you are trying to conduct tests.
